Notion cover backgrounds
Covers wide enough for Notion's strip, soft enough to sit behind a page title and an icon without fighting either.

1500 × 600
Notion works best with covers at least 1500 px wide. The studio's 5:2 frame is the same shape.

- Wide windows
Notion shows the cover as a strip across the page and trims the top and bottom to fit the window. Reposition chooses which band shows; a gradient has no wrong band.

Six to start from
Rendered at 5:2 by the studio's own renderer. Each opens there at this size, ready to change and export.
Calm covers, busy pages
A Notion page is full of text. A light, low-contrast cover frames it without pulling the eye up and away from the work, which is why the palettes here start pale.
One palette per area
Give each teamspace or project its own palette and people know where they are before they read the title. Save the first as a preset in the studio and the next cover in the set matches.
Upload, then reposition
In Notion, Add cover, then Upload, then Reposition and drag. A wider-than-needed cover means there's always more of the gradient to slide into view.
