320 × 100
A typical header panel. Twitch takes images up to 320 px wide and 600 px tall. The studio's nearest frame is 3:1, which is 320 × 107 at Twitch's width, a few pixels taller than 320 × 100. Twitch resizes larger images to fit 320 px wide, so the panel is just slightly taller.

Panels have no overlays. Each panel also has its own title and description fields that you fill in on Twitch, so the image can be pure colour, or carry one word you add.

Six to start from
Rendered at 3:1 by the studio's own renderer. Each opens there at this size, ready to change and export.
One style for every panel
Use the same palette for each panel and change only the seed or the colour order, so About, Schedule and Rules look like one set. Save it as a preset in the studio to come back to it.
Under 1 MB
Twitch takes panel images under 1 MB. The free first download, 1920 × 640, is well under that. The 4K export is over 2 MB, so use the first download size, or shrink the 4K file, for panels.
Headers are short
On two large channels we measured, header panels were 320 × 100 and 320 × 124. Any height up to 600 works; taller panels push the next one further down the page.
